1.Hello guys! And first of all congrats for your second album, which was released on 26th may. What can you tell me about it ? What did inspired you?
We really took our time to make this album. We were not in a rush at all. Most of all, we wanted to have fun. Nothing concrete inspires us and we need to be completely stoned to have something worth saying. This winter was a period of opulence, it made us want to make this record. Otherwise it wouldn’t have happened and Sektemtum would’ve released the next album in 2046.
Working, making a record is very boring, so we
need a good reason to do this, this time, it was thanks to the drugs ... It was
very satisfying and in large quantities.
2. Who is responsible for the concept of the band?
SIX,
REL and the REVEREND. We’re a threesome, a threesome is better, it’s more
sensual, hot and tense, there are more things going on when there’s three
people. Things which are impossible to consider when you’re on your own or when
there are just two people, and being a
foursome means nothing to us.
3.What
stays behind the name Sektemtum?
It means nothing, and because it means
nothing, suddenly it means everything.
4.Can
you choose your favourite song from the album and tell its story?
Panacea
is my favourite track but I can not tell you much about it because I was too
stoned to participate in creating and recording it. Maybe that’s why it’s such
a good song. And what about you, what's your favourite song?
5.Who is in charge for the lyrics?
The three of us wrote the lyrics. This is the
stuff we were doing last winter, it all depends on the temperature outside and
of our desires too. We’re in Spring now so I want to write erotic lyrics.
6. The members of Sektemtum have been active in a lot of different bands. Since 2015 there are changes in the band.
Meyhna'ch has left the band, SEKTEMTUM is but the three of us. It's like that.
7.
Do you have any plans to come to Romania in the near future?
No, but I would like to come over and play
there, I like Eastern Europe, the public is intense there ... It’s amazing ! We really want to play at your
place actually. Set us on a tour and come with us!

Our new album was made exclusively for the
